After many weeks of waiting, the much anticipated Runescape Christmas Event 2011 is finally here! Get ready to enter a whole new dimension of Runescape, help decorate the wizard tower, chase stray decorations and produce a fabulous Christmas Feast for all the Wizards in Runescape. Read on for a full length guide of the event.

To begin the Christmas Event 2011 named “ A towering Feast” head towards the wizard’s tower, south of Draynor Village and Speak to Wizard Sinterklaas stationed outside.

He will welcome you to the Wizard’s Christmas Banquet and ask you to enter the portal to help set up for the feast. Accept the quest and enter the portal. Once you have entered the portal you will notice yourself outside the same tower but in a different dimension.

Head on inside and speak to Sedridor, a tall wizard dressed in blue robes. Tell him that the Wizard outside sent you to help set up the feast. Sedridor will explain that this is the first time the Wizards in the Wizard tower have had to host the banquet and that the event is usually hosted by the wizard’s guild.

Because of this, they have had to rush on the preparations and could do with all the help that they can get.

Sedridor will tell you the names of people who need help setting up for the feast.

Task #1-Helping Isidor…

For this task, head downstairs into the basement of the Wizard’s tower. There you will find the Wizard Isidor waiting for help. He will tell you that he needs help covering the banquet area in snow and that you will need to use snow emitters.

He will explain what snow emitters are and how to use them. He gives you a list of rules you must follow to complete this task. 1. When you place an emitter, snow will shoot out in 4 directions 2. When you remove an emitter, snow already laid down will also be removed.

3. Don’t place 2 emitters where they can shoot snow at each other.

Isidor will show you a map of the weak spots and how much snow you should put on them. This task can be quite challenging so I have borrowed an image from Runescape Wiki to show you the correct positions.

Task #2- Kris and Kringle…

For this task, enter the room right next door to the banquet area which happens to be the kitchen. There, you will find two of the most unlikely chefs, Kris and Kringle.

Speak to Kringle first and then Kris will tell you that he is in need of some vital ingredients to cook food for the Christmas feast. The following is a list of the ingredients needed:

1) 5 enchanted Christmas Puddings

2) 2 Dragon Eyes

3) 2 Demon Claws

4) Sparks from a wand

5) Christmas Spirit.

Step 1. Ask Kringle for details on each of the ingredients you must procure. He will hand you a jar to collect Christmas Spirit. To collect the Christmas Spirit, use the jar on three runescape players, you will automatically say “Merry Christmas “Players Name”.

Once the jar is full of Christmas Spirit, hand it back to Kringle.

Step 2. Next, you must search for 5 enchanted Christmas Puddings. The Puddings are hidden within the boundary of the kitchen. To find the puddings, search the cooking pots, boxes and sacks. Once you have collected your 5th Christmas pudding, take them back to Kringle.

Step 3. In this step, you must locate two dragon eyes. Head upstairs onto the second floor of the wizard’s tower and speak to Traiborn. Your player will ask Traiborn if you could take the two dragon eyes from the dragon head perched nearby. He will refuse to give you the eyes and a whole range of phrases will come up. One of these phrases will make him give them to you.

The phrase which works is “Look over there, a thingummmywut!” Traiborn will turn away, distracted and you will grab the eyes and then leave. Take the eyes back to Kringle.

Step 4. In this step, you are required to procure two dragon claws from Timmy the Demon. Head upstairs to the top floor of the wizard’s tower and speak to wizard Grayzag. He will tell you to talk to Timmy the dragon and see if you can persuade him to hand over the claw.

Talking to him does work, and you manage to procure one dragon claw but you still need one more. To procure the second dragon claw you will have to do a series of emotes to try and raise Timmy’s anger level. But beware, some emotes can calm the demon down. Below is a small list of the emotes I used to make him angry.

1) Blow Kiss

2) Raspberry

3) Jig

4) Jump for Joy.

Once you have collected the second demon claw, head back downstairs and give Kringle the claws.

Step 5. Head back upstairs and speak to Wizard Mizgrog. He will hand over the broken wand. Take it back downstairs to Kringle who will ask for your help in loading the cannon.

The Recipe for cooking the food is as follows:

“Claws not on top of eyes, they burst them, but they go well together. Spirit is drizzled on top of everything, puddings needs most flavor added to it but don’t put spice directly on them.”

This translates to:

First place the enchanted puddings into the canon, then the demon claws, then dragon eyes and add the spice on top then top with Christmas spirit. The canon will start and will shoot food everywhere, this task is completed!

Task #3- Hide and Seek (Imp Style)…

For this task, head back upstairs to the top floor and speak to wizard Grayzag who will deny anything is wrong before getting into a heated argument with wizard Mizgag nearby. It is soon revealed that Wizard Grayzag has lost 4 imps and that you must find them lurking in the tower somewhere.

When you find them, you are to banish them with the words “Ziemmassive tbu veci tis”. The imps are located within the tower. I believe that the imps are in different places for different players so I cannot tell you exactly where they are. But once you have found and banished all of the imps head back to Wizard Grayzag.

Task #4- Christmas Decorations…

In this fourth and final task of the Christmas Event, you have to go upstairs to the top floor and speak to Wizard Sionccorn, a fairy hovering in the corner. She will tell you that she is having trouble keeping the Christmas decorations from escaping.

It is revealed that the Christmas decorations are kept in the attic of the Wizard tower where all manner of dark objects are kept. Agree to help her. You will be teleported inside the attic. Your task is simple but can be quite a bit of work.

You are to pick up any decorations which jump out of the box the wizard is holding. If you fail and there are too many objects around the room, you will have to repeat this task again.

Once you have completed this task head back to Seridor to collect your reward. Seridor will thank you for your efforts and invite you to join in on the Christmas Feast.

He will give you the broken wand to keep as a reward for your efforts. The wand can be able to fling objects at other players. You will also gain access to a new emote called chaotic cookery.

Thank you for reading this guide and I hope it assisted you in some way. –Aurora1.
